OUR MISSION

This made him realize that many people take the luxury of drinking clean water for granted in the United States of America. Miller realized not only the woman he was helping relied on this water, but other villagers relied on the unclean water to survive. The same water he once relied on to survive as a child, at that mot Miller made a commitment to do something about fixing the situation. Dedicating himself to the mission of creating a way to provide clean filtered drinking water for his country & fellow villagers in the local & surrounding areas of the Mali Village. Prior to starting the foundation, Miller independently funded water reconstruction operations where he hired an entire construction team to build a hand pump that would manually pull water from underground to fill containers in his village. Since being built, this has been a great help to the citizens of the Mali Village, because it provides easier access to clean water, a basic need of life.

The Mission here at the Mariam & Aliyah Foundation is to provide clean drinking water to the people across the regions of Western Africa and the surrounding areas of the regional areas within the Mali Village. It all started when Miller decided to visit his mother’s tomb while in Mali, when he witnessed a woman gathering water from a makeshift well in the ground, he stopped in his tracks to help her out. The woman was filling a plethora of buckets. She laid each bucket to the side one by one. As Miller filled the buckets, he noticed there was a yellowish tone to the water also that the water was filled with some type of debris.
